Agreement to Terms

By requesting a quote or booking a move with Ironmen Moving and Storage, you agree to these terms. All moves are governed by the California Household Goods Carriers Act and the applicable CPUC tariff for intrastate moves, and by FMCSA regulations for interstate moves.

Estimates and Binding Quotes

Written estimates provided by Ironmen are based on the information you provide. Final charges may vary if actual inventory differs from the estimate. Binding estimates lock in the price for the exact items listed; any additions are charged at the current hourly or weight rate.

Valuation Coverage

California law requires all movers to offer Released Value Protection (60 cents per pound per article, included at no charge) and Full Value Protection (purchased separately). We recommend Full Value Protection for all moves. You must select your coverage option in writing before your move begins.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 72+ hours before the scheduled move date receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the move date may forfeit the deposit. Same-day cancellations are charged a cancellation fee equal to 2 hours of the quoted rate.

Items Not Transported

Ironmen does not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, propane tanks, firearms, illegal substances, or perishable items requiring refrigeration. Valuables including jewelry, currency, and irreplaceable documents should be transported personally.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from your move will first be addressed through Ironmen's internal claims process. Claims must be submitted in writing within 9 months of delivery. If unresolved, disputes are subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Los Angeles, CA.
