KITCHEN
Pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils, small appliances, pantry
One color per room. One key per box. Unpacking takes half as long — and the Ironmen crew puts every box in the right room without asking. Print, cut, tape, done.
1. Pick a color for every room. Use the chart below or assign your own. Stick with it for the entire pack.
2. Write the room key, box number, and contents on every box. Example: KIT-12: Pots, pans, dish towels
3. Stick the color label on three sides plus the top. So the crew can see it no matter how the box sits on the truck.
4. Mark fragile boxes with a red X. The Ironmen crew loads these on top, never on the bottom of a stack.

Use for boxes you'll sort at the new home
Print this page, cut along the lines, and tape one strip per box. Run this page through your printer with color enabled.
1. Number boxes sequentially per room, not overall. KIT-1, KIT-2, KIT-3… not "Box 1" "Box 2." This way you immediately know if KIT-7 didn't make it off the truck.
2. Keep a master sheet (paper or photo). One column per room. Write the box number and 3-5 word contents. Snap a photo of the sheet with your phone before move day.
3. Mark "open first" boxes with a yellow tag. Coffee mug, basic toiletries, phone charger, sheets for one bed. See our Move Day Survival Kit for the full list.
Pre-label your boxes with this system and your Ironmen Moving and Storage crew will have you unloaded in record time.
